What It’s Like to Start Working with Investment Answers
In January 2012, Travis Terlau, CEO of Investment Answers, spoke with Checks & Balances TV about how we reach out to our clients and to those in our communities. How does Investment Answers keep in-touch? We thought we’d share this video to give you a better idea of what it’s like to start working with us. The process of finding and selecting a new Investment Advisor can be a little nerve-wracking, so it’s often nice to know ahead of time, what to expect.
1. Make new friends.
We meet most of our new clients through introductions from our existing clients. This is our favorite way to get introduced to new people because there’s a level of trust right from the very beginning. We also meet new clients through our public educational workshops and other community events. We don’t want to “sell” people on working with us- our goal is to be in-service to those who can truly benefit from our knowledge- for those who are excited about working to secure their financial future.
2. No-pressure meetings.
Your initial meeting with us is for fellowship and information gathering. We want you to be comfortable enough to openly talk about your long-term goals and your plans for retirement. To help you be at ease during our first few meetings, we’ll meet wherever you feel best, whether that’s in our office or in your home. We’re here to really listen to your thoughts and provide answers to your questions.
3. Staying in touch.
One of the worst feelings is signing on the dotted line and then…crickets. We know what it feels like to have a disengaged financial advisor. We want our clients to know that they are our priority, so we reach out to our clients on a regular basis. With Investment Answers as part of your team, you can count on hearing from us. We may be simply sending a quick note, inviting you to an exciting event, or perhaps we’re just checking in because you’ve been in our thoughts- we want you to know we’re there for you when you need us.
Have questions about what else you can expect as a new member of the Investment Answers family? Write us a quick note, and we’ll give you all the information you need.
